To all free men,
Because it is not bearable any more that a few men, for oil, for ideas, for power, are sending millions of people to their death,
Because it is not acceptable anymore that, each day, humankind works for the profit of only a few,
Because, today, we are all citizens of the same planet,
Because even this planet is dying under the furious assaults of a so-called economic growth,
Because speech time and negotiation time is over,
Today, we, the free men,
declare war.
We declare war to all governments, all flags and all corporations.
We declare today the independence of the free men's country.
We will impose the democratic control of all international institutions and the coming of the first world government
We assert, with Gandhi, that we wish to "live simply, that others may simply live".
The current organisation of the world is not fated, it is a cancer eating away at humankind.
There are alternatives everywhere.
We call all free men on all continents to join resistance groups everywhere.
Wherever you are, in cities, in the country, from the Andean mountains to the Siberian steppes, from the American megalopolis to the islands of the Indian ocean, from Greenland to Cape Horn, beyond religions, beyond cultures, beyond borders, join us or organise the resistance. We are already thousands, we will be millions tomorrow. Man is not our enemy. We will never be the first to shoot and we will only attack institutions.
But we swear today to only cease fighting when the last flag will stop floating over the planet.
For freedom!
For humankind!
